The wild ones still roam here, quiet guardians of the land. Every sighting reminds me how alive this place is.

This land once burned. We saw it blackened, empty. And still, it rises—slowly, defiantly—green from ash.

Weekends spent out here with my ever-patient husband are a gift. In silence and laughter, we share something sacred.
